Maundy Thursday Thoughts

It matters not whether you killed your brother, or stole a writing instrument. Sin is sin. We tend to quantify sins. Sometimes knowingly, other times subconsciously - but we have all been guilty of it. Still, sin is sin. Grumbling is as abhorrent to God as adultery.  Friends, it is not easy to write about, because I know it’s hard to read about. Slow Down for Peace

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ I am hesitant to recommend the below show reading plan as I do not prefer the obscure words the author sometimes uses. However, the message it is trying to deliver is so important. I’m still studying the Bible, still learning every day from it…and I’m three full months into a One Year journey to read the entire Bible. I have not yet read specifically, “God says hurry is evil and slow is good.” Still, when you delve into the experiences of God’s people, when they got in a hurry for things to happen they tended to get impatient. That impatience would lead to grumbling. Grumbling was a sign to God that His people did not fully trust in Him. This made Him angry because He had such an amazing plan, if only His people would slow down, and patiently wait for Him to carefully prepare the path! And the next thing you know ...
